All About Horsham

Horsham is an award-winning market town in West Sussex,  Snuggled in outstandingly beautiful coutryside it offers a wonderful place for shopping, meeting friends and eating out.

Horsham is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon, wandering the carfax or exploring the intimate alleyways.

Packed with small local shops along with high street chains, Horsham is the perfect combination of boutique and convenience. There are specialist shops selling unique fasions and furnishings, collectors’ items and unusual gifts.

If the hustle and bustle is not your thing then check out  the Forum which is a much more relaxing experience.  The Forum in Horsham is a spacious publis square where you can shop at Sainsbury’s and then enjoy a coffee while children play in the water jets.

Everyone is welcome in Horsham and it is a fantastic location to meet up with friends to enjoy the al fresco style of the town.  There are over 90 pubs, bars, restaurants, cafes and coffee shops to explore and your biggest problem will be what to choose to enjoy first!

For centuries, Horsham has been a bustling market town and has not lost any of its charm.  It enjoys a busy year of events from the easter Piazza Italia through to the regular Saturday market in the Carfax.

Specialised markets also visit Horsham regularly including the popular French & Italian Markets.

Every year in September Horsham hosts a month long Food & Drink festival and people come from all over the UK to enjoy “The Big Nibble”.

You may find that when you visit Horsham that one day is not enough to take in all that Horsham has to offer.  It really is one of the hidden gems of West Sussex.

Once you are done with all of your retail therapy and fine dining then you can taka a leasurly stroll through Horsham Park, visit the ever changing exhibits in Horsham Museum or relax and catch a show at the Capitol Theatre.

If you are feeling a bit more active then when you visit Horsham you could go for a swim in the Pavilions in the park or enjoy a round of golf at Rookwood Golf Course.

You could even go bird watching at Warnham nature reserve if its your thing 🙂
