Morecoft Racehourse Welfare Centre

Moorcroft was set up in order to find new permanent homes for racehorses that were no longer fitted to the job of racing. These horses come from a range of racing backgrounds and it is the charity’s function to find them suitable alternative homes based on their abilities and requirements. The charity doesn’t sell its horses but merely asks for a donation to be made to the charity located on the quality and ability of the horse – which is typically way below market value.
