Michael Jung, the german Oympic eventing champion, will be debuting his five star Nations Cup showjumping at Hickstead this week.
Jung is well known for competing in the eventing world. However he also takes part in the showjumping and dressage events at the Grand Prix level. When he was called in at the last minute to join the German squad comprised of five at the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ of Great Britain.
Hickstead will witness an addition of his international rides Fischerchelsea and Dante RZ, along with 3 others.

There are very few riders in the world who are capable of competing at the highest level in eventing, showjumping and dressage, and we’re sure Michael’s legions of fans will be keen to see him in action as he jumps for the very first time.”
Michael’s accompalishments range from winning gold at the london olympics and Rio, as well as at the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky in the year 2010. He has also been European champion thrice. He has made his mark by winning five-star events at Luhmuhlen, Badminton, Kentucky and Burghley. Being the second rider in history to win the title of Rolex Grand Slam of Eventing, is just another feather in his cap.
